Love of journals
Many writers have been « discovered » thanks to journals, the privileged access to the publishing world. Some writers have founded and edited journals to which they have devoted their best. But for several years now, literary practices and mores have changed and it seems that literary journals do not have the importance they once had any longer. What place, then, do journals occupy in the life of a writer ? Alain Nadaud’s piece is the first in a serie where writers testify on this issue.
