Anthropological Journals in Spain
Cut off from its usual sources – Darwin-inspired positivist anthropology and folk studies – by the long era of fascism, Spanish anthropology reappeared in the Sixties, following the models developed in the United States, France and Britain. The writer describes the difficulties which academic anthropology journals must face because of this undefined status.
