Literary Journals in French-speaking Belgium Part 2 : 1914- 1940
Part two of a study previously published in the last issue of La Revue des revues (« Literary journals in French-speaking Belgium – Part 1 : 1880-1914», no 10). In this second installment the writer chronicles the importance of contemporary literary periodicals in the opening of Belgian letters to the international scene, and their marshalling of new sensitivities toward a cosmopolitan renewal of literary life. No less important, their instrumental role in making reputations.
