Literary journals in French-speaking Belgium 1940 to date
The post-war literary map of French-speaking Belgium is dotted with some two hundred literary journals testimony to the prominent place they occupy. Engaged as they were in rethinking their relationship to a world of shattered certainties, they provided a fermenting space for literary movements negotiating their path between continuity and rupture, and the transformation of the resulting literary forms.
